Volunteer Questionnaire

Greetings potential Burning Man volunteer!

To volunteer for Burning Man, your first step is to fill out the following questionnaire completely and accurately. All your information will remain strictly confidential, and will not be shared with anyone.

We use the information you provide to fill positions for the current year, as well as into the future, so please be thorough. You should only give us information about how you are willing to volunteer for Burning Man. For instance, if you are a doctor, but don't want to volunteer as one, you don't need to tell us. Likewise, if you are a circus performer that only wants to volunteer as a circus performer, let us know.

The Volunteer Coordinator for each team you express interest in will contact you directly. Note that some teams may be full, and that by August, teams have generally finished their volunteer recruitment for the year, and are likely on the playa, unable to quickly respond to your inquiries. However, if you want to volunteer at the event, stop by the V-spot at Playa Info (located in Center Camp) during the event to find out about available opportunities.

After filling out the questionnaire, you'll automatically be subscribed to our volunteers-announce email list, which we use to alert you to the latest volunteer opportunities.

You don't need to fill out this questionnaire if:

• you've already filled one out in the past;
• you've already filled out a questionnaire, and now you're interested in a different team (just click on the team's name in the list to the right, and contact them directly);
• you changed your email address and are thus no longer subscribed to volunteers-announce list (email volunteers (at) burningman.com with your full name and new email address);
• or you just want to be kept informed about goings on in the Burning Man community (you should subscribe to the Jack Rabbit Speaks newsletter).

To ensure you recieve emails back from teams in which you're interested, be sure your email server's SPAM filter allows you to receive emails from burningman.com.
